Ronald McDonald House Charities of Norfolk mission is keeping families close to their hospitalized children. Just steps away from Children's Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD), families can get a good night's sleep, feel refreshed, and be ready to participate with the hospital care team. With access to washer/dryers, donated food items, and meals prepared by generous and caring groups of volunteers, the families can focus on what truly matters: being present for their children.

We also offer a Day Usage Program for families who are not staying at Ronald McDonald House but have a child at CHKD. This Program provides families with a respite from the hospital while their children receive care. We offer free Wi-Fi, access to the laundry room, and access to the kitchen and food.
